What exactly is a Hurricane Party?
Hurricane Party is a free mobile app that helps friends find, share, and create spontaneous get-togethers. Whether you’re getting your friends together for an impromptu game of kickball, or going out for a wild night on the town, Hurricane Party connects you with your real friends out in the real world. It’s social networking that’s actually social.
Why hurricanes? Why not tornados, cyclones, or nor’easters?
In order for a Hurricane to form hot air and cold air have to come together in just the right way. A party is quite similar. You have your music, drinks, atmosphere, and friends. And all of these elements have to come together in just that magical way for an awesome party to form.
Did either of you secretly want to be a meteorologist?
Both Eric and I have been card carrying members of the junior meteorologist society since grade school. So, yes.
Do you think P Diddy could throw a Level 5 Hurricane Party?
Yes.
What advice do you have for people who are just starting out on their own?
Don’t quit. It’s not about being smarter or faster than the competition. It’s about being more stubborn.
